During an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today Show, Martha Stewart noted that she was thinking of doing online dating. She said she had started to complete a profile and then didn’t know how to respond to some of the questions. She seemed eager to go back and try again.
Dating for 50+ is different than online dating for 20 year olds. Seems to me, as a psychologist, that maturity is a wonderful thing and makes possible choices much easier. Although there are specific issues that 50+ people worry about, 50+ people are also clear about what they want and what they don’t want. A relationship builds in a much more thoughtful way, and real characteristics are noticed and evaluated.
Hearing Martha Stewart’s interview, I got the sense that she knew what she wanted and wasn’t going to “settle” for anything less. She was also clear that she did like dating, and would want to have a man in her life.
So hear, hear! Think about yourself and what your preferences are. On line dating is a way to make your preferences known and to look for the qualities you are looking for in others. Join us at boomerpremierdating.com
